Privacy & data protection

Privacy, explained
in plain language.

How Finkash collects, uses, protects and respects personal information when you visit our website, contact us or explore a career with us.

Last updated: 29 August 2026

This policy is a transparent website notice. It does not replace the terms in a signed customer, supplier or employment agreement, which take precedence where they conflict.

Who this policy covers

Finkash is the operator of this website and the responsible party for personal information collected through it. This policy applies to website visitors, people who contact us, newsletter subscribers and job applicants. Our products may have separate customer-facing privacy documentation because customers determine the purposes and means of processing their own operational data.

Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, work email, organisation, role, country, phone number, enquiry or application details. We also collect limited technical information needed to operate and protect the site, including IP address, browser information, device information, pages visited, referral URL and cookie preferences. We do not ask you to send special personal information through the contact form.

Why we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, arrange relevant conversations, manage recruitment, send newsletters only where you have opted in, improve the website, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Our grounds for processing depend on the context and may include consent, taking steps at your request before entering an agreement, our legitimate interests in operating a secure business website, or a legal obligation.

Sharing, international transfers and retention

We share information only with people and service providers who need it to run our website, communications or recruitment process, or where law requires it. We may use service providers located outside your country; where we do, we will take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards. We retain enquiry and recruitment information only for as long as needed for the stated purpose, legal requirements, dispute resolution and record keeping. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, subject to any lawful retention need.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, update, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, or object to certain processing. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in an email. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection regulator, including the South African Information Regulator where POPIA applies.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies support site security, form protection and your saved cookie choice. Optional analytics and marketing cookies remain off unless you enable them in Cookie settings. You can change your preference at any time using the Cookie settings control. Blocking essential cookies may affect some site functionality.

Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure; please do not send passwords, identity numbers, financial account information or other sensitive information through our public forms.

Contact us about privacy
